Join the Lab

We're building a new research program from the ground up, and we're looking for people who want to help shape it.

Open now: Research Technician / Research Associate

Full-time, funded by our NIH R01. You'll run field sampling campaigns in real cannabis cultivation and processing facilities, manage bioaerosol and allergen collection instrumentation, and support in vitro and in vivo lab work. Ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience across environmental engineering and immunology, not siloed into one.

Recruiting: Graduate Research Assistant

We're looking for a Master's or PhD student ready to work across field exposure science and molecular microbiology and immunology. You'll have real ownership over your project and will be pioneering a new interdisciplinary field of research.

This is a brand new lab, which means less hierarchy and more room for you to actually shape the science, not just execute someone else's ideas. I left academia for industry once already, and came back doing things differently: I still do my own lab work and fieldwork, because I think you lose something when you stop. I want this to be a place where junior researchers get real ownership, and where good ideas get heard no matter where they came from. If that sounds like the kind of lab you want to be part of, I'd love to hear from you.
